Ad Banner Serving Marks Second Win for PhotoDisc’s Banner Advertisement in recent months. PhotoDisc the market leading royalty-free digital stock photography brand of Getty Images, Inc., have won an ‘Ad Banner Serving’ award for their web banner advertising at the prestigious One Show Interactive Awards.
This is the second award win for PhotoDisc’s series of banner advertisements in recent months. Ogilvy Interactive, in second place, was awarded a Banner Interactive Single Silver award for their IBM banner and Anderson and Lembke, in third place, were awarded a Banner Interactive Single Bronze award for their Microsoft banner.

PhotoDisc Europe recently won the Financial Times Business Website of 2006 Award in the small to medium enterprise category, for its website www.photodisc.com/uk and made it to the finals of the British Telecom Awards for Innovation in E-Business. The annual One Show advertising competition, sponsored by The One Club for Art and Copy, a non-profit organization designed to promote creative excellence in advertising; is judged by a panel of the advertising industry’s elite creative directors. The coveted Gold Pencils awarded at the One Show are regarded as the zenith of achievement for copywriters and art directors. In 2006, over 15,000 entries were received, representing 51 countries, both new records for The One Show. The One Show Interactive Awards were launched by the One Club in 1998 as a separate awards programme designed exclusively for the new media industry. The awards are judged by a distinguished panel of creative from the interactive field.
